Yep, and it works just fine.
I like the silenced 10mm pistol though, fun with a high sneak skill.
I never even bothered with sneak. I was a full on frontal assault kind of guy. First the combat shotgun, later the mini gun, and then finally the laser gattling.

I love the fact that Michael Dorn is reprising his role as Marcus the Super Mutant from Fallout 2.
