Ok i had to google. Oxalic acid, and a dentist said it isn't bad for your teeth. It's in bananas, too.

I've never noticed it with cooked spinach, I assume the calcium and other stuff gets all mixed in with whatever else is in there and diluted

Here in the states, some vets are giving less frequent rabies vaccines as they feel they are unnecessary, maybe she confused something the vet said?
