WTF Bad boys, Bad boys, whatcha gonna do

I'm sure your insurance policies have the problems as our: deductibles, limits on claims, and squabbling over value of goods destroyed or stolen. The insurance industry counts on screwing a lot of people out of money they are entitled to. Their ability to do that is one of the few competitive advantages they have. Profitable insurance companies screw more people. Otherwise, it would be gambling on the insurers' part.
nah we have these things called regulations that keep companies in check, and a government body who actually enforces these regulations. We are not clean of all corporate fraud, by your standards we're crystal.

sorry that I didn't take the time to go through and list enough examples for you (though I suspect no number would be enough for you). I've definitely listed out more victims before, but for some reason every time there's another, I have to come in here and have the same fucking arguments over and over again.

Looters would be a much lower standard of giving a fuck about the criminal. Mugger - I might let them slide if they aren't threatening to shoot me. Faceless mob of looters? - shoot them all, cowardly mob they are.
kill people because they might take your toy away? maybe you all do need a refreshing of that liberty tree....

We have regs and oversight too, but some of them still have to try, figuring they make more on screwing people than the occasional wrist slap for being bad. Sometimes to a stubborn degree. Last case like that I had while working law I think I demanded $65k to settle the claim and all futures(3 years). It went to arbitration, my boss walked out with $235k.

No George, you don't HAVE to have the same arguments over and over. THat's a choice.

Seems like the problem here might be with the public thinking that there is oversight when it's also a common occurrence for insurance companies to commit fraud. Can't have one with the other.

Your oversight system might be better. Our's is really "find an attorney who fights insurance companies and wins." Fuck if they don't prey on the illiterate and poor. They know they can wait them out and trip them up with forms, independent medical exams, etc. I always worked in Plaintiff's law and that was one thing I really did like - turning it back around on the fucking insurance companies and helping working stiffs who just need to get what they paid for.

smh.... That's not oversight.

Must be an American thing to do, i don't know any non-americans that give a shit about material possessions enough to risk their life or take someone else's.
Ever think tanstaafl is how it is in the US? We don't have a social safety net. It's all bootstrap trickledown. Look I'm starting over from nothing again. I would have killed someone if they tried to take something from me when I was on the street. Nothing is replaceable when you don't have anything.

The fuck? What 3rd world country are you living in when simply insurance claims can't be honored.
I was in a car accident (not my fault proven in court) in 2011. I finally got my check in 2018 and they priced it from 2018 instead of when the accident happened.

All I had was my watch, some books and my backpack.
Not for "we the people", but for corporations the US is a socialist utopia.

Also. "Nothing is replaceable when you don't have anything"...... Think about that again in the context you interjected it into.

I thought about it. My watch, MRE s the guard depot gave me, and some books are objectively nothing.

And in November, you have a choice from two parties who've both had decades to make changes. Let's face it, the Dems and Reps are the same lube on the corporate cock drilling your collective ass.

You'd think someone who's been through the trails and tribulations that you have, would understand what's wrong with materialism.
