wiring is extremely uncomplicated. it seems you should stick to painting your nails however :p

Ever demo'd an entire floor in a corporate building?

The basics of wiring are uncomplicated, sure. But there is about 50 ways I could name off how that 'uncomplicated' job can get fucked up fast.

1. The sport of choice for the urban poor is BASKETBALL.
2. The sport of choice for maintenance level employees is BOWLING.
3. The sport of choice for front-line workers is FOOTBALL.
4. The sport of choice for supervisors is BASEBALL.
5. The sport of choice for middle management is TENNIS.
And....
6. The sport of choice for corporate executives and officers is GOLF.
THE AMAZING CONCLUSION:
The higher you go in the corporate structure, the smaller your balls become.
There must be a ton of people in Washington playing marbles!

Are those sexy legs in a tub of KFC with a fan blowing more KFC smell to them and a mariachi band in the background for ambiance?

Are those chikken's lilly white legs?

Wiring is difficult due to the codes, regulations, laws, and permits that have* to be followed. Most of them make sense, but add $$ and time to a wiring project. The NEC book is pretty damn thick now.

(*should)

In most places in this state, you only need a building permit and plumbing permit (mainly for people who have private septic systems) to do any work on your home. There is no state building code either, varies by town/city and by county. I think a new law was passed to get a building code, but there's talk to repeal that.

In Phoenix too. You can easily get a 3-4 bedroom in a decent neighborhood for under 100k. If you want to spend more you can get 4-6 beds with a pool in a nicer neighborhood for 150k.

Damn, we need to move somewhere cheaper. Right now we are struggling to find a 3-4 br in good condition in our town for $350K. I love where I live, but it's ridiculous here. :(
