TBH, I'd prefer something soft on the seat of the bike and not on the seat of my pants.
Seems like more work to wear and wash the shorts than to attach a softer seat.
Zac and I got bikes yesterday and rode around the place. My ass HURTTSSSSSS.
If it will go away after awhile, then I'll try leaving it as is... I'm not an every day bike rider though. So breaking out the spandex is just ... weird.padding in your pants moves with your legs to prevent chafing
also, the ass sore goes away after awhile. i used to not wear padded shorts and would have to put up with it for a week or two every spring.
Get one of those seats like whats on the beach cruiser bikes

Went waterskiing yesterday. Chim is so sore I had to take his car into work today because it's a stick and he is too sore to use the clutch
so i bought a new car this weekend, altima sl. can't wait to pick it up....
His legs were sore because he isn't that physically active and this was a physical activity he was involved in. A manual transmission requires two legs, not just one. And he drives a Golf (Rabbit) so the clutch is kind of heavy in a German way. He was having trouble even walking down the stairs to get to the car. There was no way he could actuate a heavy clutch with proper control and timing for his commute to work today.
Where's the confusion or should I have just put more details in first?
