what does a surge in sugar intake constitute?

i had to.
Well I'm not all that used to eating really crap, processed, sugary foods. Or at least I haven't been for a few years now. In my living situation though you expend a lot of energy and so need lots of cals in, easy way to do that is to eat very easily accessed sugary food therefore i've been drinking more fizzy drinks, chocolate and sugary pastries.

why is your living situation expending so much energy?

high sugar intake from drinks will keep you up half the night, what's your sleep like?

I'm squatting atm. Hard work living off grid.

Sleep isn't so bad. Some nights I wake up a couple of times but that's normal. I rarely sleep the whole night through.

that won't be an entirely productive scenario for your mental health..

Well I happen to know that vally is fantastic so I wouldn't mind a mild dose.

Triggers? Dunno. Stress I'd say.
Level of anxiety can be anywhere from 1 - 8 depending.
Sometimes it's just that I'm a bit nervy or short or breath, bit shakey. Other days it's a bit mad and I don't want to leave the house. I took a week off work earlier in the year because I couldn't mentally make myself leave the house to go to work becuase I was so anxious and my brain was shutting down from stress.

I am confused how you can have any stress at all. no bills, stable relationship, ease to finding food, no money worries. You arguably have the least stressful life of anyone here.

 Maybe that's what's stressing me ;)

Nah but squatting is great, you can look at the monetary side (which doesn't interest me) but on the flipside it's not any kind of security. We could be kicked out in the future and be on our asses y'know?

Anyway I just hate working.

Instead of treating the symptoms, have you tried eliminating the cause? What's making you so anxious? Your job? It fills you with that much unease? Maybe find something else to do.

well, since she doesn't have to worry about much of anything at all, she might just have a little bit to be anxious about at work and in comparison that will seem like a lot.

Unless it's an anxiety disorder, which of course she wont' be able to completely control at all times. If that's the case, then I strongly suggest exercise. Pick up a bike machine and hit it when you feel an attack coming on. I get them sometimes too (something like 90% of my mom's side of the family does), and I've never taken meds. A few months ago up here at work I got one so bad I thought I was having a heart attack. I wasn't stressed at all, it just hit me out of nowhere. I think I made a thread about it. That sucked pretty bad.

It's a weird thing, believing you're about to drop dead. Anxiety attacks suck. Basically just start working out more. I started up a heavy cardio regimen following my little spell and I haven't had one since. Big or small.

Wtf are you asking people for medical advice on a forum? That's retarded. Just because half these bitches are on anxiety drugs doesn't make them experts. Plus, you're in the UK. Go mooch some health care.
