Such a sad week for pets. A friend of mine had to put their cat to sleep a few days ago. Then I heard that my friend's mom woke up this morning to find her dog drowned in their swimming pool. Very sad.

I miss my kitties. I went to visit them on Saturday/Sunday and one of them couldn't stop snuggling up to me and the other apparently was comfort eating all week (she usually only eats in the morning) without me.

Everything is going to suck when you immediately stick some 'Socialist' stigma to it. I'm not exactly socialist, but I'm going to have to say I'd side with people over companies on this one. Healthcare should not be the preserve of a minority, and in that event that the US will have no healthcare reform - encourage staff to practice a certain amount of hours pro-bono like we force most of our Barristers and Solicitors to do here. That worked, you'd hardly call legal practice socialised now would you?
