Ask a Mormon anything.

After Joseph Smith was done translating is it was published by "E. B. Grandin 1830 "First edition" in Palmyra. Based on Printer's Manuscript copied from Original Manuscript."

Since then, the publishers have changed, and the color of the cover has changed, but that's it. The words on the inside have been exactly the same.

Actually wasn't section 109 removed and replaced with section 132 (polygamy)? And does it worry you that polygamy may have been banned not because God/Joseph Smith originally made a mistake, but because Mormons wanted US validation and statehood?

edit: Well, made two mistakes. First, section 109 banned plural marriages, then section 132 that allowed it.

The Doctrine and Covenants are entirely separate from the Book of Mormon and I'm not sure on that, I would have to go do some searching.

And as far as the polygamy thing, absolutely not. It will come back, it will be practiced again, it's pretty much a guarantee I will NOT be Knyte's only wife, whether that happens in this life or the next is uncertain, but it happening is pretty certain.

What do you mean this life or the next?

Are you looking forward to this? :hi2u:

I do enjoy the HBO series "Big Love".

I do enjoy Bill Paxton.

Religious polygamy is nothing more than a way of getting lots of pussy. I love it when the guys (and it's always guys who start and lead these religions and institute polygamy) try to justify it in a spiritual light. It's never "Let's wait until they are 21 and of legal drinking age" either. Hell no. Where's the fun in that? David Koresh fucked kids. The LDS desert compound people probably fuck kids. There's nothing godly about it, and I hope they all die horribly. I'd happily volunteer to send them on their way. Except for Koresh, of course. He already died horribly.

How do you explain Polyandry then?

I completely agree with you, the filth that is out their practicing polygamy now forcing young girls (14-18) to marry should be quartered. I can promise you though, my church never did that or would have allowed it.
