ask a european anything

stop this! you know there is a fine line between me and queendom!

Well then why are you using something as crude as an electric kettle that is clogged instead of using a fine china kettle and teacup set on a doily, if you are indeed that close to being a queen.

are there official siesta hours in spain?

and haven't they found out that even though they take siestas they're still productive?

isn't there a big to do (ooooh, Tadu, that's a purty name!) about you folks having to give up some of your vacation and start working a 40 hour week to compensate for the poor world economy? don't the euros take like 3+ weeks a year?

i think some businesses allow a longer lunchbreak, but it would be impossible to have a decent economy with people sleeping all the time. you know them dodgy spaniards eh!

there is a little bit - france isn't very happy about having to work more and more hours. people are greedy here in ireland and the uk, and try and work as many hours as they can to keep up with the jones's. to be honest, i'd prefer to work as little as possible so that i can enjoy myself. as long as it pays the bills, i don't really mind.
