If some bar you loved to hang out was suddenly overrun with people not of your type day in and day out, you'd be a little miffed too.

True, it's not "your" bar, but sometimes change isn't welcomed.

It's not your bar. You may not like the change, but you can't do shit to stop it either. You either do what most humans do and adapt, or find a new bar. Those are your options.

And, to be serious, this place really doesn't even have a problem with content or what people post. Only the seriously uptight think that there is a problem here that needs to be addressed.

This point of view holds so little of a mindset with me that I can't even begin to discuss how little I care how long someone has been here. Thats just as lame as UID elitism, and is the tool of the weak to give them some self indoctrinated importance that really means not a god damned thing in the long run.

Look at people like Sleeman over at Genmay. He had been there forever, didn't change the fact that he was a retarded moron who took more away than he gave even though, IRL, he's actually supposed to be an intelligent guy.

So, just an example of how time served really doesn't relate to anything when it comes to forums, save making it past the 3 month 'noob' phase where most of your user attrition occurs.
