gov't employee discount on cell plans

I'm on my 3rd curve. They pretty much suck if you do alot of them. Mine keep breaking. (like the trackball and the keyboard gets worn out.)

I deal with 100's of them and I've never seen one go bad from normal use...kb anyway...the track ball can be fixed by taking an alcohol screen wipe and squeeze the drop of alcohol out of it into the ball and then run it back and forth with the wipe

The bb trackball (and retaining clip) is like a $1.00 part on ebay. Comes out to about $6 with shipping. I broke mine on my Pearl months ago. The plastic retaining clip that holds the trackball in got caught on the edge of the case I have on my Pearl and ripped off and the trackball came out. Broke one of the metal clips/contacts on the trackball.

I'm looking to get Curve. Hate the friggen Pearl keyboard now that I really need to type out tickets via browser.

Back to the original post, my company pays for my cell and service :D Although since I own the company I guess I'm paying for it anyway :p As for discounts, I found out recently when I walked into a USCC store, that they changed their BB plans. The $25.00 a month data plan is now unlimited. Does not include BES/exchange support, which I don't need since my business e-mail is through Google Apps via IMAP. So that saved me $25 a month. Cell bill is now around $65.00 a month. Very sweet.

Seems like most of you get free phone bills and stuff, wtf? I don't get anything with my job, and actually I never buy credit for my phone. I use my home phone if it's urgent, but everyone else has to ring me otherwise, I don't ring or text other people back.

I have two cell phones. Work pays for my Crackberry, and I keep a personal account as well. I could probably just use the one phone, but I like having 1 single number that i always keep and will never change. Jobs come and go, but my # and Email go on forever.

Until someone finally creates an effictive profit model for an internet enabled auto-updater/notifier service that lets EVERYONE know that your shit has changed in a comprehensive manner.
