Given that we all seem to like to read a lot of books, it's not a rare occurence that I come across a nice word that I pick up and like to drop into conversation (just to seem like an obnoxious prick). However yesterday I said the word pensive, and then had to explain what it meant. I thought that was a fairly well known word. Anyway here's one of my favourite words that you can use quite often, follow it with some of yours:
insouciant
adjective
marked by blithe unconcern; "an ability to interest casual students"; "showed a casual disregard for cold weather"; "an utterly insouciant financial policy"; "an elegantly insouciant manner"; "drove his car with nonchalant abandon"; "was polite in a teasing nonchalant manner"
Your turn. I want to be able to use at least 1 today!
