I haven't been mean to you. Hell I've got people wanting my house to burn down because I posted pics of my Christmas decor
OH HAI!!!
So the question here is.... we were all noobs at some point (even if we can't remember that far back) but how were we treated by old-timers, and how did we treat old-timers?
I seem to remember a sense of respect being owed toward regulars and old-timers, and noobs not speaking unelss spoken to, and when they did speak it had to be pretty flipping funny. I think we need this hierarchy back.
What mythical forum was that? Not Genmay for sure,

But mostly I think newbs were just ignored there. You had to be willing to talk to yourself at least until you made [H]ard|Gawd status (or whatever it was).

I remember being a noob and having the fear of bannit in me, even after [M] started I was afraid to post and I remember the first time i ever flamed anyon on [H], I literally felt like pins and needles and kept hitting F5 waiting to be banned or reprimanded by a mod or something
THATS what we need
I'm going to take this as just you being funny. Because if you were serious, you shouldn't be posting on the internet, but instead out in front of your house yelling at kids to stay off of your lawn. Which we know isn't you, so obviously, your post was meant to be in jest.
well some of us spent a significant amount of time in the technical forums before posting in genmay so even though no one knew me by then I wasn't stank cheese before I tested the waters
Alright I'm going to stop ignoring you just long enough to point out that once again, you don't know what you're talking about so please, kindly refrain from making judgements because you are not equipped with the prior knowledge to do so.
Please, please, please, stop... just STOP replying to me or thinking that you know me or have any sort of insight or anything, it's irritating to say the least. You're a random internet guy, and now you're really creeping me out so just back off my nuts already, k?
thanks
