me too. you should try back bacon. it has less fat.Well that's just stupid, I much prefer more meat and little bits of fat then the other way around.
I disagree. The fat melts away during cooking!
why don't you try putting a cup over the bacon? cup, bacon, cup. maybe that'd help keep it's shape?
Great idea - I limited the drippings and flame in the baking sheet be micrwaving the bacon for 2 1/2 minutes to remove fat. this worked well and the bacon was easier to handle. Did you ever make Cheese salad bowls?they to are great.
We bought some thick cut bacon at the grocery store this weekend.
They had several brands so I lined them all up to see which one was the thickest and bought that one.
I was gonna try and open the different packages to I could weigh individual slices, and gauge thickness, but the wife told me to quit being an idiot and pick one
