Sumac. The non-poisonous kind. Hate is a perfect word to describe this crap. I've cut down I don't know how many of these damn things and they keep coming back. Much like bamboo. Can't kill it. Only way to control it is to rototill the roots, but I don't have one. The stuff is very ugly as well. Portions of the tree randomly die off and stay there forever. Only redeeming feature is the flowers if you can call them that. The birds eat the seeds from the dead flowers during the winter months. I don't know what nutritional value they have.

Everyone loves the smell of pipe smoke.

I only smoke a pipe when I have an especially slaughtering amount of work to do and need to focus. The aroma and the act are a great soother.
