Heroes, anyone?

Heroes rocks. I have most of the other geeks at the office hooked now.

I watch House too, but didn't jump on till mid-way through the second season. The wife had been watching from the first, and kept telling me to start, but I put it off.

She watches Bones and likes it a lot, but I never started that show.

We're both Lost fanatics, and just got HD, so it looks even better now. (Just in time for it to go into haitus till Feb, the bastards)

back 1 week prior to the girls death. That's what the picture shows at least. She stated earlier in the episode that her birthday was last week.

I love this show. Hiro is the shit.

Best new show in ages.

Well, this and Dexter, and Jericho.

I love this show... it's everything that the X-Files was and the 4400 should have been.

my guess is no, though the very end of the episode did nto reflect that, as there were still cops and stuff around (at least I think there was).

That's the whole time paradox thing going on. Previous poster, good catch on the birthday thing, I saw the pic but totally missed the reference.

My gripe right now is that my DVR box's time is offset by 1-3 minutes from network time, so the last two episodes (not counting last night) got cut off, barring me from seeing the last 40-60 seconds.

As for the 'slow' nature of last night's episode, keep in mind that even though each episode is in and of itself continuing a larger storyline, last night's was the first "To Be Continued" (that I have seen, I missed the first episode).

Well, it's not an encapsulated episodic show (such as X-files, which had a major arcing storyline, but many episodes were self contained, and had closure), so to me, all of heroes so far is continuous.

When I record my shows, I set the DVR to begin 1 minute early and end 5 minutes later because I was having the same issue.

I wound up doing the same thing for all of my scheduled recordings. I had already set up Nip/Tuck because FX has a habit of running 3-5 minutes over, it wasn't a big deal to switch everything else. The only tricky part was modifying all of the 15-min shows during adult swim. I think I'm going to switch to just flat out record Cartoon Network from 10pm-2am every Sunday.
