transfat thread v.2

I went to a KFC in London and they didn't have mashed potatos, but they still had gravy. Whats up with that?

Shut up I shop at Ann Taylor . . . fgt

The KFC I went to in Amsterdam (the guys I were with wanted KFC for some god unknown reason instead of something local) charged me 25 eurocents for a packet of ketchup.

Thus my initiation into the world of nickle and diming you for little things. That being said though, I'd happily pay to use restrooms in America if they were as clean as the restrooms I used in Europe. You'd never expect the restroom at a train station to be clean in America, in Europe they're spotless. Just make sure you have a full euro to go #2, because 50 eurocents only gets you a urinal in some places. (Prices may vary)

They started doing this here for awhile especially at Mc Donalds with BBQ sauce. They then stopped charging but now they dont give you ketchup unless you ask for it.

At McDs I never ask for anything but the sweet & sour sauce. That stuff is like crack cocaine, I SWEAR THEY PUT DRUGS IN IT. I can never get enough, even when I'm through with my food I'm tempted to just eat more of the sweet & sour sauce. Also, what's up with the cheese paper being so good? You know...the cheese from the hamburger that gets stuck to the paper? Why is it so satisfying to eat that?

The McDs here now gives mea weird look when I ask for salt. They don't put as much salt on their fries as they used to and quite frankly the fries need salt. If you're going to clog your arteries you might as well go all out.

HOLY JEEEBUS and I am the fat guy here, lol

I always ask for salt. Me and salt get along just fine. I won't eat without salt. Put salt on the table dammit. GIVE ME THE DAMN SALT.

Sorry, touchy subject.

And HOT MUSTARD needs to be HOT, homos. If it's just a cheap knock off of some spiced up mayonnaise then called it SPICED UP MAYONNAISE KNOCK-OFF. FFS at least offer some hot sauce to make the hot mustard hot.

kfc just announced they are switching to soybean oil and the verdict for the NYC transfat issue will be announced today
a few weeks ago disney swore off transfats in the foods served at their resorts...this thing is blowing up!

I, for one, welcome our new transfat free overlords :fly:

that's a big deal with kfc switching though...think this is going to sweep the country at this point?

Told ya. Allow the market to regulate itself and the right thing will be done.

Oh and in case y'all forgot...trans fats were originally used because "health experts" told everyone they were better for us than other fats. So I wonder what's going to happen in ten years when some new "health experts" tell us that the alternative is even worse.

you were saying "HOW DARE THEY TAKE AWAY MY TRANS FATS!!?!?" :fly:

No, I was saying 'how dare they take away the right of choice'. It's ok, people will be happy with their government babysitter because they're too lazy and/or stupid to take care of themselves.

Yeah, god bless America, land of the lazy. People wonder why this country is going to shit and then applaud when personal irresponsibility is embraced and encouraged.

ok senator flynavy, go change the country for the better for us
you obviously have your finger squarely on the pulse of america and know better than anyone else what should happen

If I can convince just one person that personal responsibility is better than government babysitting then I've accomplished my goal. But yeah, that's how I believe I'll do my part in changing things for the better.

Our system of government was designed to protect the minority from the will of the uneducated masses. It was designed with the belief that choice and personal responsibility are directly related to the prosperity of a nation. I wonder what you'll think when Atlanta bans smoking indoors.
