It'll probably be warm enough to melt it, but sealed poorly enough to leak into whatever electronics are built into the dish.Top flight engineering there.

So let me get this straight: they sold a device that's meant to go outdoors, on a tripod which you'd expect be designed to hold the thing in place outdoors, and it blows over in *checks weather history* 35 mph wind gusts. But you're not actually supposed to use it because you need to mount it instead, so they're including the tripod in the box as a useless gift or something instead of providing, say, a fucking mount for it.You pounce on the dumbest shit sometimes. He hasn't mounted it.
And apparently it gets hot as fuck, so it should be fine in the snow.
I was going to say you could also bolt it down but if that works cool. I mean it's pretty cool. I think viasat was offering internet too but they don't seem to advertise it. https://www.viasat.com/Anyway, there's now 3 thin cinderblocks on the legs.
35mph winds aren't trivial. It's a giant sail. You can probably do the math better than me.So let me get this straight: they sold a device that's meant to go outdoors, on a tripod which you'd expect be designed to hold the thing in place outdoors, and it blows over in *checks weather history* 35 mph wind gusts. You're right, that is the dumbest shit.
