I really doubt that and they probably don't care. Have you even governmented before. They just like to be big and scary. It's so boring, and the fact it catches on with local law enforcement and the post office is laughable. The fucking post office catches on fire like once a month. I doubt they're verifying my credentials.

Mostly unrelated, but I've followed some interesting stories of people getting their clearance renewals denied due to manufactured spending. Shit is a nightmare.

Yeah it's basically like flipping a coin. It's not scientifically rigorous or anything really, just depends on the people doing the investigation and what mood they're in. I worked for a company that was hired to provide

I've only been employed by the government once. For like, 3 days. It took 6 months to get a paycheck. You realize most of the background stuff is hired out? Ya'll consistenly shitting on the people who do all the work.

OMG I just got a call, you have to be here two hours early... and Im like...? At 4am? and im like Ill try but and they are like no YOU HAVE TO BE HERE. So welcome to working two hours early unpaid. Fucking companies wonder why they cant keep employees. And no they arent going to bill it out, every week my paycheck is 40.00 hours with a couple twenties sipped inside.

Yeah yeah, soon as I get another job Ill report it but ffs.

Im just so conditioned from other jobs where you are on call. Im gonna go home early tho, Idgaf. Asking people to work 70-80 hours a week is idiotic. Just hire more people. I've also worked there a year and got told to go fuck myself whe I asked for a raise even though I'm left in charge half the time.

Unsurprisingly, someone who has never gone through the process seems to have an unwarranted opinion about it.
 
The wife used to work for a company that created training modules for the army, and she had to have a relatively high security clearance.
They were surprisingly thorough in the investigations.
