While I know what you're getting at, interestingly in Florida its during the summer for COVID (no idea about flu). Theoretically its because Floridians don't go outside in August.

Dude *I* don't care if I get it. I care if I get stuck in a country with a positive test, no hotel booked, unknown healthcare, and no idea when I would be able to come home. Getting it is not the problem, its logistics of everything around it.

But seriously, there's no way international travel is worth it. It probably wasn't worth it when we went to Iceland, but we got lucky. No way I'd keep rolling those dice.

My plan when I travel internationally is if I were to get Covid I would just rent out an Airbnb and tough it out to come home. Since I’ve had Covid already I have a pretty good idea what to expect but I 100% understand your concerns.
