i tried to get home assistant working in a hyper-v container. Ive hit a glitch where it wont pull an IP and havent had time to mess with it yet

You got a guide to doing it your way? I have ubuntu up and running in hyper-v, but it seems within the past month or two the home assistant folks have deprecated hass.io and all the guides are broken, its Home Assistant Supervised now it looks like

I only test in production.

I have only the most rigorous deployment regime.

First it has to build and run unit tests in Dev. Then it has to pass integration tests in Qual. Then it has to last more than 10 days in Soak.

Only after that gauntlet of reliability testing, does it go to Prod.

My house is on the DEVOPS TRAIN baby.
