As usual there was a second shooter, lol.

This may well hinge on how that guy was behaving with his rifle as he approached the car.

Muzzle down, totally legal and it's murder/manslaughter.

Raise the muzzle towards the car = shootable threat, self defense.

Lots of twits claiming different things. Whether it comes out publicly or not I'm almost certain there will be some surveillance video of the thing seeing as the cops were "monitoring" the protest.

Also downtown is littered with security cams on every building, traffic cams on every stoplight, etc.


Some articles mention both those guys had chl's. They don't mention though that that doesn't matter in this instance. Don't need one to carry a long gun and unless something changed don't need one to keep a pistol in your car either. Do need it to carry on your person out in public.

Does mean both passed background checks, etc. Neither one was prohibited from having guns.

Ammon Bundy and his band of armed right-wing conspirators occupied a BLM headquarters (ZOMG FEDERAL PROPERTY, VANDALIZED) for 40 days because they were butthurt that his daddy was being charged grazing fees for his cattle on Federal open space.

And yet, nobody got shot, tear-gassed, disappeared, or otherwise harmed.

Bit of a double standard going on there for "crybabbies that need to go home".

Guns should not be pointed at our citizens when they aren't a threat to others. Guns shouldn't even be pointed when someone is breaking the law as long as others aren't in danger.
