It’s kind of weird that when something bad happens, the haters all run towards socialism as the answer.

“We’re considering giving everyone $1000”
Bailouts for corporations
Stimulus for Wall St
Testing covered, no copay needed
Etc etc

The government is doing what they are supposed to do during a national emergency. They're supposed to be a safety net. Not a way of life.

I heard somewhere that people on Social Security/Disability won’t be eligible for this $1000 the gov plans on doling out which if true, isn’t a huge surprise because I’ve never received a “kicker” or whatever they’ve been called in the past.

Food for thought

Most SS recipients put closer to 100% of their income back into the economy every month as-is. There is no reason to not include them in the $1000 program.

Please spare me the “government already supports your lazy ass with a handout monthly” crap, because that isn’t how the system works, especially for people on disability who have worked their entire adult lives.
