For starters, cashiers don't make up 75% of any work force - nice try @HipHugHer .
Secondly, I believe mankind has always sought to make life more efficient - raping the planet for free resources as example. Society needs to change, I am participating in the process. It is contrary to life to seek out that which is a lesser deal. I have the exact same forces pitted against me at many levels. Yeah, I get tired of adapting too.

That is the basic issue. Worldwide we try to gather and accumulate more than the other guy like paranoid squirrels. There actually is plenty for everyone. Slowing the birth rate would help stabilize things.

As though anyone will pay for that. People don’t even want to pay taxes and are discussing doing away with income taxes in favor of paying for the “parts of government you use”. I heard that discussed.

Society today has no interest in helping anyone other than themselves or their own.
