He ordered a "whole engine rebuild kit" from one of the popular Z vendors and they neglected to ship it with all 6 wrist pins. He wasn't totally on top of it, so it spent about a month and a half sitting and waiting for him to work it out with the vendor.

This is a vendor I told him to avoid, as they consistently fuck things up and then take forever to right them (you want their fuckup to not cost you any more time? You'd get to pay twice for that expedited shipping, yo). Plus, they're in Atlanta, while the vendor I prefer to deal with is in Phoenix. Proximity to Albuquerque is a major bonus for dealing with the preferred guys, both in shipping times and in business hours.

Kid made some progress. The bottom end is mostly sealed up. Didn't want to put any torque on the head studs until after the loctite had cured, so the heads are just sitting there.
