Some have given a theory that this was a fake coup. Noticing how no military leader has made any statement, and that the actions of the military was very amateurish. Not to mention Erdogan flying into the country at the hight of the coup to save the day.

I agree this could be a false flag, really shitty for the 17 Istanbul cops who died for some asshole president so unpopular he had to fake a coup and pretend to thwart it in order to keep his iron throne.
