WTF UCSB shooting guy posted a creepy manifesto on YouTube. It's since been pulled...

that's not how it works. that's how you THINK it works. that's how you've been programmed to THINK it works.

Life works how YOU make it.

You can choose to put up with it, or you can choose to change it.

the fuck are you talking about? life doesn't work how you make it, she can't control it if the guy comes after her

i don't understand your logic. I'm saying she doesn't have to give this dude her number. She doesn't have to think that is a good idea.

also the time I was sexually assaulted and told it was my fault because they found d my old camwhore pics on genmay so I was a slut anyway

the time I was raped because "if she's passed out she can't say no lolololol rape jokes"

the catcalls and pushy dudes who don't take no for an answer, or who only accept "I have a boyfriend," because that means I'm someone else's property, and not just that m not fucking interested.

every time my very legitimate concerns or upset feelings were chalked up to my period

the fact that I have to arm myself to walk home alone at night from my second job because if something were to happen to me, it'd be my fault for walking alone at night (as though I have a choice).

every time I or someone I know has been threatened with rape by some mouthbreather online

just a few. five me time, I'm sure I can come up with more.

sexually assaulted in real life because of pictures on the internet?!

so you were drunk, passed out, and actually raped?

catcalls...or dudes asking for your info because you walked by and they were attracted to you physically?

emotional non-acceptance due to hormones?

you carry a gun, because it makes you feel safer...

you've actually been threatened with rape online?

where the hell do you live where these real life experiences take place?!?

Well, I dont understand the whole "real number" thing but she didn't say it was a good idea, just the safest option

she doesn't have to but if the guy keeps following her until she does wtf are her options? she shouldn't have to feel at risk because of some dude that won't take no for an answer

we don't have to worry about that, they do. if they don't worry about it and something happens they get accused of not protecting themselves when we don't have to worry about people stronger than us deciding they're owed something

it may not be a good idea to give the guy her number but it may be an even worse one not to

1 out of 6 women have been the victims of sexual assault. I'd say her experience is pretty much normal for someone with a vagina. That's why I fear for my daughter.

her experiences are not unique

You gave him your real number?
he did the b"I'll give you my number, and then you text me so I have it" thing, so I couldn't give a fake. he knew it wasn't dead because I was using it to listen to music to avoid interacting with anyone in the first place. I couldn't give a fake # and I couldn't say my phone was dead so I couldn't call/text

what is the actual definition of "sexual assault" in this statistic? not trying to be a dick, but I've heard of guys getting caught pissing whilst publicly intoxicated being charged with sexual assault if a woman happened to be walking by.

YES WE DO HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THAT. Maybe not for ourselves, but for our wives, daughters, sisters, mothers, friends, and every other fucking person on the planet. Anyone else on that subway can and should get involved.

This is OUR world, we all live in it, and should be making it a fucking better place where people DO NOT have to put up with this shit.

Where do you hang out? Because "I'm not interested" seems to strike my friends out all night long.

sexually assaulted in real life because of pictures on the internet?!

*no, the assault had nothing to do with the pictures, but the pictures were used as evidence that I was a slut who couldn't say no

so you were drunk, passed out, and actually raped?

* yes.

catcalls...or dudes asking for your info because you walked by and they were attracted to you physically?

*both, but the people asking for my #often don't accept no for an answer, and only some even accept "I have a boyfriend"

emotional non-acceptance due to hormones?

you carry a gun, because it makes you feel safer...

*stun gun

you've actually been threatened with rape online?

* yes, though it's not usually as obvious aals "I'm going to rape you," it's about fucking me into submission
