Pics XMAS 2018

I picked up our tree this past weekend. I told the guy they all looked kind of dry. He says, "well, they were all cut in November, sooo. . ."

that was kinda the arguement that peanut made that convinced me

plantable tree: 3-5 days of christmas tree, 90 dollars/year
cut tree: 70 bucks/years, 2 weeks of christmas tree
artificial tree: all the christmas tree you want, $200, forever.

Also, i cant really get behind the cut tree thing. Im not gonna pay someone a pittance to cut down a tree thats been growing for 8 years [/treehugginghippie]

It's actually not a terrible idea.

for the natural 'pine' smell, you can get a cheap wreath, or buy (if they won't just give them to you) some of the lower, cut off branches, from the tree places and trim them way down for mantel decorations, sprays, other cutsie xmas stuff the wimmens come up with.
