on a side note..anyone notice how they are trying to revive the rock/rap combo of the early nineties?
kinda like clothes .. they go through cycles when they run out of fresh ideas

touche' my friend.
but i would consider that "booty music", not hip hop. not the same genres.
that's like saying emocore isn't punk.
You are one of those sad fools who calls Thrice and Thursday punk rock arent you????
no, i'd call them what they are.
we're talking about the differences between a rhombus and a square.
and, btw, i'd call thursday post-hardcore and thrice shitty.
I had the unpleasant task of sitting through a Thursday show one time. First band was Coheed and Cambria which was great. Second band was Thrice and they were alright because of a great stage presence. Final bad was Thursday and they were whinny crying little bishes. It was the first time I have ever seen a band stop playing so they could cry together because "I just cant continue, there is so much meaning in our songs". He then curled up on the stage and started weeping, worst band ever.
i think coheed blows balls and that thursday is an amazing band, so i'm not sure we're set to talk about music together.
Fat Joe and a bunch of other rapper types (cool and dre, mims, rick ross, etc) are going to be here in Tampa for DJ Christion's bday bash, I believe the first Tuesday in July.
I will not be at Strokers, BeerHead, I will be at this show. Don't snitch.
