WTF What a surprise there was another muslim terrorist attack

Nate Silver's site. The guy who inspired the movie MoneyBall. Using actual science/math, his site has correct called all 50 states in the last few elections (or something impressive like that).
he was a little less accurate this round than in the past.

Still good, but not that crazy surreal accurate down the point that he was before.

It's a business, they're purely trolls who try to incite attacks on themselves then turn around and sue. It's a family of lawyers.

Fred Phelps was actually a successful civil rights lawyer right up until a gay guy tried to molest his son in a park... cause and effect is a crazy thing.

A gay molester made him go crazy and become evil? Awesome. That's a great excuse.

It makes me wonder why all these crazy psychopaths that like to shoot up places during their suicide attempts don't just walk into places like the Westboro Baptist Church and open fire. I mean, instead of attacking children or gay people, you know, people that are already vulnerable, why not attack people that do terrible things? Seriously, we need smarter psychopathic rampages.

Wbc is a heavily fortified compound, they've gotten threats for years have taken them seriously.

And yea, a gay molester made him go crazy and evil. It's not an unheard of thing...

Could maybe dig up the link again if I just had to, but I was reading an article like this a few months ago about changing tactics with mass shooters, school shootings, etc. Basically they're now supposed to go in as fast/soon as possible to engage the threat. This would mean those first cops in will be stepping over injured people, not helping them, but their job is to find an eliminate the shooter as fast as they can. Then more medics come in behind them to treat the wounded without worrying about getting picked off.

This is supposed to be the new policy. Don't know why it would take millions of dollars worth of studies and tactical analysts to figure out what should be common sense but they're finally coming around.

They figured out all the hold back and wait thing does is let people bleed out and die. It also gives the shooter time to prepare a defense, find a good ambush spot to shoot cops, or escape. He can't do that when he's got a squad of good guys on his ass

Also, law enforcement are public employees. They work for the people, not the other way around. They're on our payroll, and people have every right, and a responsibility, to question their methods, procedures, results, etc.
