Not really. You can throw together a fairly capable HTPC for less than an Xbox or PS3 + Netflix costs.

hulu desktop lists minimum specs as core 2 duo 2.0GHz. For real? It won't work on a Pentium-M 1.7GHz chip? It's not that old.

not cheaper than a Wii, though. Of course you're kicking yourself in the pants as far as no HD goes there. I'll take a look at the used laptop option.

I don't know why I've never heard of this game, but I must have it.

I love my PS3, games look great, supports blu-ray, and All the movies I download I play straight though the PS3. You can get a normal remote for it as well. I'm sure HTPCs are great, this just seemed like an all in one deal.
