I have no desire to search it, but I could swear you had enrolled in a peak-hours program that cycled your AC compressor.

i also recall this. This was why he had trouble going to a smart thermostat and had to write a buncha custom smartthings code to talk to his dumb thermostat that was required for this.

You're close. I have enrolled in the tiered program. They have a box plugged into wifi that talks (but certainly doesn't control) to the tstat. Normally, they also install something that talks to the water heater, but they didn't have to install it cause mine is a hybrid.

So go be a dick about something else!

cause they give me 30 bucks a month off my bills to do so, and its almost unnotticable. They shut the AC off maybe 3 times all summer.
