Pretty much done fixed my mud pit of a basement

Dug down 14 inches
dug a sump pit
put permeable geotexible over every square inch of dirt
2 inches of gravel
perforated drain tile throughout leading into the sump pit
8 more inches of gravel

Still need to do, but less urgent:

Plug some holes in the walls with hydraulic cement
Drylok the walls
Maybe add perimeter wall drain (j-board)

Probably Overkill, but it's only gonna get dug out once, so worth it

How big is the sump pit, and how many sump pumps do you have?

My grandfather always had two. One set higher than the other just in case the pit got more full than normal, they could tag team it if the lower one couldn't keep up for some reason.

30 inch sump pit, alarmed single pump. Should be ok, can handle 8 inches of water a minute. If I'm getting that much i have bigger problems

Anyone know of any quality bracket less shelf hardware? I don't want to do a cleat, I want as thin a shelf as possible.

The idea is to have a continuous shelf all arounds the #MANCAVE and set up the Lego trains with stops along the way.

Dude, youre a grown-ass man

but if you have to, this one will get it about at thin as you can within reason
