What would that do for me exactly?
From what my friend tells me, if your Verizon phone supports using alternative WAP gateways, this would allow you to not have to spend data minutes since you wouldn't be using Verizon's WAP gateway. It's kind of a loophole in the phones that allows you to enter in any WAP gateway IP address. Then you can surf the web on your phone without having a data service plan on your phone. At least that is what my friend told me.
