got bored, took a spin with my mate, photos ensued. enjoy.
it's almost autumn here, but that's when we have our best weather. september is usually the hottest month in Ireland, so it was nice to see a decent break today in the rain. why the hell not?
few photos of a field, i thought it was deliciously windows vista
this is up near a national historic site - i don't really know why, but i took some photos anyway, in the distance is the belfast mountains, though they're a lot closer than they look.
this is out towards lisburn which is attached to belfast but likes to think of itself as a city on it's own. i liked the haze, which was a feature of today.
your hero collar popped
after that we went to downpatrick which is about 40 miles away. named after, and home to, st patrick. mr snakes himself. it's quite a dull little town, but that's all part of the charm.
this is the cathedral from beside what appeared to be an old monestary, now a 'discovery centre'
talk about anti-climatic. here's st paddys grave.
yup, that's it.
better yet was the view of downpatrick town from the cemetary around 10pm. a nice site to end the day.
after that i got home and uploaded because im dull.
we need more pic threads. any suggestions?
thx
