Yeah, we got the Iraq al-Zarqawi in 2006. That guy was a giant piece of shit. He regularly would kidnap people's families, and force them to go bury ieds by the roadsides. Of course the people burying the ieds were the ones that paid the immediate price, when in fact many of them were functionally hostages. I can understand removing the threat, but I can't reconcile putting it on those people.I thought so too, then I figured out I was thinking of Abu Musab al-Zarqawi who was on the Iraq playing cards got got in 2006, this was Ayman al-Zawahiri.
