Thanks for proving my point. The Bush tax cuts do not create jobs.
Obama already did this. a tiny tax break for every full timer you add.
This is the equivalent of telling you that we'll give you a onetime $200 tax credit if you spend $20,000 on solar cells for your house.
it doesn't work for the simple reason in that it doesn't make sense to spend so much for so little return.
obama is practicing 'economic rationing' and it's not working. How did you not get the memo?
ooohhhhh, gov't contract. Check the civilian side.
did you even look at the graph?
did you see how they shortened the recession?
unemployment went down.
Have you seen how obama has not employed any tax breaks similar to kennedy, reagan, & bush and the resulting economy obama and his congress created?
Sorry to inform you but Obama didn't collapse the economy. Bush did.
No that's hardly a tax break. I'm talking about the equivalent amount in tax breaks per X amount of jobs as the Bush tax cuts amount to. That gives tax breaks to people who will actually create jobs.
At least he's trying.
job creation does not work this way. there is no possible way for it TO work this way.
Jobs are created when profit is made, not tax breaks gained on TOP of writing off the employees salary as an expense. The business owner doesn't pay taxes on the money he has to pay the new employee other than his share of employment tax (7.5%). The new employee is a total write off as far as expenses is concerned. The problem with you plan is it doesn't look to increase profitability in the company. The employer does that. A onetime tax break isn't going to cure unemployment because the taxes saved won't be that much.
How much of a tax break are you going to give a business to hire a guy at 100K?
it doesn't matter what they achieve. It's that they're trying that counts. Blue Ribbons for everyone.

You can't achieve anything without trying first. If someone has the definitive answer, a way to fix everything without screwing anyone, then they should really speak up right away. I'm sure that everyone would be all for it.
OK. So you blame Bush. In the last two years Obama made a bigger mess of it all the while pointing at bush. If people thought he was doing a good job the morning of 11/3 would have looked a lot different.
did you see how spectacularly he &Nancy & harry are fucking up getting the economy back on track?
he's the red line.

I for one am glad he's finally moving away from the far left.
Are you one of those that believes socialism hasn't worked every single time it's been tried solely because the right people haven't done it yet?
At least he's trying. let's all hold hands.
jobs are created when there is increased demand for a product
I can't imagine there being anyone on planet earth who could do a good job at being president of the US right now. I don't think it is possible. It took a long time to get us here and it is going to take a longer time to get us out of here. Expecting Obama to do it overnight is ludicrous. .
