haha, I have a book of it in Old English, early Modern English, and the English of today. Completely insane how that used to be considered English. It doesn't even look close to anything written or spoken today.

I liked the beginning of Freakonomics when it threw out all these interesting facts... then farther into the book it just started to repeat the ideas over and over. Needless to say, I was bored.
I'd go as far as saying Tim Harford is a much better writer. His book was very enjoyable to read, as is his weekly column in the FT.
