Or... we could just be like look... don't trust the Russians, don't trust the Chinese... do your own research to verify information before coming to a conclusion. Try multiple sources, think for yourself. Don't let Russia contaminate your mind when making decisions. If something comes out that seems like it's damning a candidate to lose the election, look into it to verify that it's true. With the current trend in technology, we can't stop most of the information from getting out there, so we rely on you to navigate that information appropriately before making any decisions. And it's ok to "flip flop" since most people do that, and it's a sign that you're received more information that corrects an erroneous opinion. It's ok to be wrong, it's ok to change your mind, just be sure that you make the best decision you can based on the information you have.

Be skeptical.

Its easy to say that, real hard to get people to actually do that
I know...

But the more you say it the more people might realize it's true.

then again a LOT of people just want to be told what to think and that's the sad part. Or they don't want to do the research so they vote blindly along their party line.

This!!! Did you guys take any journalism courses? These journalists sure haven't. Who what where why when how and VERIFY!

"journalists" haven't journalised in a long time. There's exceptions here and there but most of them just parrot "official statements" and most people are conditioned that "the officials" must be stating truth.

Never have I taken a journalism course, but that's not what journalists care about today. Today it'a about ratings, being the first on scene to get whatever information out and spreading an opinion. Be it Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, NPR (though NPR does a LITTLE better when reporting political stuffs), they just want to spread their opinions on what happened. That's all "journalism" is today.
