4 wheel drive should take care of that...

And this reminds me of the Utes back home. Powerful V8's in a vechile with no weight over the rear wheels.. Fun times..

It's listed as an option, like I said, lower HP/TQ ratings though.

odd, I thought they stopped offering it like that. dmax + allison + 4x4 should be the only way to go

getting a stick shift when you're using a truck mainly for towing and hauling is :tard:

A stick is fine, I always found the clutch and tranny in my F350 (Of course it was an oversized clutch) easier to use than the one in my Subaru. Downshifting when required for hills 'n such is never an issue, keeps one involved.

I understand that the amount of torque in these "small" diesels these days is easier to manage (cost effectively) with the decent autos than with the single range manuals in these consumer vehicles. They'd probably have to go to two, or three range transfer cases to give you the same longevity and performance.

And one of the big uses of this one will be for plowing, which actually is dramatically more pleasureable with an automatic.

I always enjoyed watching the 'boaters' backing their trucks up enough to submerge the tailpipe at the local boat launch growing up.

What fun.

I've driven a land cruiser through a river crossing and submerged the car truck up to the middle of the windshield.

Ugh I want a Trooper! Wish they sold them here..

you're a whore, but in a good way. Kindof.
yeah. that air ride is great until the $400 compressor goes (or shuts down due to overheating). No, it doesn't look any different from the $20 compressor at Target. There's lots of great fixes for it. when it goes, just splice the airlines together to an airvalve & pump it yourself as needed.

I recently replaced the tires on my 4runner, and it cost $580 for all 4 tires.
