There was a book on nudity in art I read once, cant remember the title but it was very dry, about hair being seen as sexual hence why european art tends to portray everyone as lacking body hair (what is the word for this?).

i do. reluctantly. sometimes. when my legs will be seen in public, i shave.

i honestly do not see the point of shaving...and i keep doing it for the same reasons that i wear makeup, even though that's just as stupid. i do it because it's an old habit and society's standards, and it pisses me off that i do them for these reasons, but i do.
