b) insurance premiums on it as a daily driver (limited miles). Buy a 2000 buck truck, and pay 1000 a year in premiums just doesnt sit right with me.

Keep the Honda, put liability only on the truck, and declare it a weekend driver to boot. Insurance will be like $300 a year.

I pay a thousand for full coverage on a 2014 silverado. Get different insurance.

F33n and I combined are $1400 a year and you know what we drive.

Get better insurance and combine your plan.

On the off chance you consider a dually (drw vs. srw) check how they are in the snow. Up here, people say they suck in the snow, & some take off the 2nd wheel. Looks very weird, and is a lot more effort than I'd make, but I'm not near considering a dually.
