whats not to understand. the bacon grease helps cook the corn, and leaves it's distinctive flavor. It doesn't require any seasoning or butter.

With a byproduct of slices of bacon.

It's better than no bacon, but I vastly prefer it greasy and chewy right from the pan, if it's sat for more than two minutes it's probably too crispy to be at peak enjoyability.
