Don't knock it until you try it, seriously. The bacon grease eases through the corn kinda like a pat of butter. It's very tasty indeed.

Agreed. I would have keep the husk off and let the bacon "burn" a bit. I love good crispy bacon and with a grill you get that effect.

Yeah bacon grease on corn might be nice, but bacon and corn doesn't seem appetizing.

Yeah, I really don't understand this particular use of bacon.

whats not to understand. the bacon grease helps cook the corn, and leaves it's distinctive flavor. It doesn't require any seasoning or butter.
