Got the Pneumonia vaccine a week ago.

Common side affects include headache and nausea.

Was mildly nauseous for a few days. Headache is finally dissipating.

there's two available, PCV13/Prevnar protects against 13 strains and PPSV23/Pneumovax prevents against 23 strains of pneumococcal bacteria. you can still get pneumonia, but you're less likely to get pneumococcal pneumonia at least.
