the major factor is not to drop a frozen bird in. that bird appeared to have been thawed but the oil was on fire which it is not supposed to be. at least that's what the govt warnings and whatnot state about this

yeah it's the water on boiling oil. I've seen people freak when the oil catches on fire and they run for some water to put it out...
