I don't know, he doesn't have a name yet, Knyte just told me we could have him for free if we wanted him. Apparently there is a lady that he works with that takes dogs from the shelter that would be put to sleep and finds new homes for him and this poor puppy was on the list. He is 7 months old and will be neutered and up to date on shots prior to us getting him. He is also supposedly house trained which will be nice.

A prehousebroken dog is always a plus. That's one of the reasons I prefer to adopt. Plus there's all the warm fuzzies you get from rescuing an animal that might have otherwise been killed.

I agree. I'm all about caring for an animal that needs a home as opposed to buying a pure bred puppy (heck, this one is still very much a puppy anyway.).
