Our structure is very different now. We got rid of combat arms units in the Army Reserve and converted them all to National Guard BCTs, Reserve is now pretty much support units. NG units get activated as needed and there are two NG SF Groups. In demand units are almost continuously activated. NG isn't really a joke anymore unless you're in a support brigade (which is granted 70% of them).Bear Grylls was only ever in the SAS Territorials, that's the weekend version. You would not normally describe yourself as ex-SAS ( as he does) with only that background. You've had a fraction of the training a regular gets. It's like being in some specialist National Guard section that's affiliated to the Navy Seals and desribing yourself as an ex-Seal.
thought bct was their boot campNational Guard BCTs,
maybe in the armyReserve is now pretty much support units.
It is, but most of the time BCT means Brigade Combat Team. It's sorta like an MEU.
I wish interviews would be forced by law to truthfully tell you why they did not hire you. It would correct a lot of problems and force employeers and new hirees to take interviews seriously. Hmm I wonder if putting a qr code on a resume would work for an it postion?
where i work, you can inquire as to why you did not get the position and they have to respond.
like michigan.
well interview went fine. I thin they are tired of seeing me show up.
