Hospitalization numbers are climbing. Hopefully that's more to do with the fact that its so much more contagious. Since it just hit 50%, it will be interesting to see what the hospitalization numbers look like in two to three weeks!

Also we actually have a cure for monkeypox, it's not FDA approved. Doctors if they even know about it have to fill out a booklet to get it.

double the number of hospitalizations from this same time last year. 1000 less people in the ICU though, 4200 this year vs 5200 last year. We've learned pretty well how to manage this thing and keep it from killing you mostly.

Statistically though.... same number of deaths as last year too.
