Under water
Splish splash
Having a bath,
Trying to take care of my mind
While my body and heart aches.
Mind pacing, pacing to a halt.
This is only just the beginning,
A marathon not a sprint.
Endurance test
Waiting for some good news
So I can rest.
Know it's not coming,
Lather up my flesh-
With sudds
Try and wash away the mess.
Keep on doggy paddle,
Avoid the ripcurl,
Don't get lost down the drain
Drowning in the pain.
Drowning.

Try not to go insane.

Country has been stood still
Ten years, no change,
Propaganda abounded to erase
They got rid of community
The real enemy here is unity
Tabloids given immunity
Status quo, status quo
Demonise those who need a benefit
Give them PIP, give them universal credit
But above all make them feel like shit
Zero hour contracts
The new norm on the go
Turn your nose up at those below
Status quo, status quo
Make no progress
Uncontested regress
No need to feel proud, to impress
Where are you now corporate giants Amazon, Mac,
Avoiding taxes, not making a single mask
True colours show, will they ever be brought to task?

i asked how she was feeling, this is what she had to say
the neighborhood was glowing
like starlight years away
now locked in place its losing hope of being free to play
please can you give me something to take this pain from me
my children drove me crazy, my husband paid the fee
i offered her an answer thats not for everyone
to take a trip, quick get away. go some place and just run
you know,... go jogging, silly! now get your pretty ass back in that house. give those babies a hug. give their dad a bj,... you’ll be fine, girl

Still comes off as a strong suggestion not an order given everything that is still open.
But he’s a republican so he won’t close everything that isn’t really essential.
Is there any sort of official document for this yet?
Your situation is a bit different but for a lot of us it's just a letter on company letterhead, or for the self-employed just our own contact info or business card, stating this is who we are, this is what we do, and under these guidelines falls under essential services.
People here are being pretty well behaved but there's really nothing stopping anyone from just printing one out at home calling themselves Steve's delivery service or plumbing repair or mobile mechanic or whatever meets the criteria.
How can they enforce that?
I could see hitting some actual brick-n-mortar business that wasn't supposed to be open but individual people just driving around I don't see how. Million different things they could be out doing that are allowed.
Uhhh, they stop you and ask you for your papers. Not hard...
